I have been waiting to reveal these gorgeous fall images of my dear friend and neighbor Mindy Nolt since October.  We spent the morning wandering around Lancaster County Central Park and I enjoyed hearing some of her songs as she sang and played guitar in the field. I wanted to portray her folk style music in photographs and I think the tall grasses and warm fall colors made the perfect setting.

Mindy just finished recording her first album "Movers and Lovers" and launched a campaign to raise funds for the project which you can check out here. Incentives range from a digital download of the album to a song written about you. If you choose "The Crafty Kitten" level of support, you can even own a pair of awesome vintage fabric earrings created by myself and my friend Andrea Miller as part of our small jewelry business, Amala Jewelry!

Mindy and her 2 year old daughter Willow are regular attendees of our Friday morning girls breakfast at Cafe 18 (home of the famous Amish Mun Latte). She and her husband Jared are both quite musically talented and they played during our wedding ceremony. I'm thrilled to support her musical endeavors and excited that I get to be her official album photographer!
