Megan and Jon are saying goodbye to Lancaster. This fall they will embark on a new adventure that will take them to Connecticut where Jon will begin a masters program at Yale Divinity School. They are good buddies of mine and I was quite excited when they asked if I would do a photo session around their neighborhood and at some of their favorite spots downtown. 

Not only do these two have brains and good looks, they've got spunk and are passionate about social justice and serving others. I worked with Megan at CWS Lancaster for a short time while she was working on her masters degree in social work. I admire the way that both Megan and Jon have impacted and invested in their community. I have really appreciated their friendship and wisdom and I know they will be greatly missed!

I kid you not, as we walked around their neighborhood and downtown there had to be at least 11 different people who passed by and said hello to Megan and Jon while we were galavanting on our photo escapades.

Megan and Jon have a fabulous garden and my husband and I have enjoyed many evening picnics with friends in their backyard. Love at Its Modern Art, a unique art studio on W. Chestnut St.

One of Megan and Jon's favorite and most frequented locations in Lancaster City: the famous Central Market Another favorite spot for coffee and a bite in the neighborhood is Chestnut Hill Cafe. On the green roof at Tellus360! One of the newest hip music venues downtown. A trip to Central Market wouldn't be complete without stopping by The Lancaster Dispensing Company (a.k.a. DipCo) for wings!
