These two are special people. Meet Leah Reiff and Jansen Herr. They are getting hitched in May at the historic Hans Herr House Museum! Jansen currently lives in one of the Hans Herr properties and being that they got engaged at the Hans Herr house and that their wedding will be there and that they will live there together forever and ever (unless they move)...it was the obvious location choice for their engagement photos. Because these two are good friends of mine, it made it all the more fun to photograph their faces and add some creative story telling to their photo session.

He is funny and witty and Leah adores him. He heats his home with a wood/coal stove, and on this particular day, lumberjack Jansen chopped wood to build a fire beside which he could snuggle with his love in the red flannel blanket that Leah has affectionately named Scratchy.

Leah is one of the most pleasant, sincere and friendly people you will ever meet. She also happens to be an AMAZING chiropractor and she runs her own business Blue Skies Chiropractic, which recently relocated to Wellness on Walnut in downtown Lancaster. If you have never been to a chiropractor before, I highly recommend you check her out.  Engagement portrait photography session of Leah and Jansen at the Hans Herr House in the fall by Melissa Engle Photography http://www.melissaenglephotography.com Engagement portrait photography session of Leah and Jansen at the Hans Herr House in the fall by Melissa Engle Photography http://www.melissaenglephotography.com Engagement portrait photography session of Leah and Jansen at the Hans Herr House in the fall by Melissa Engle Photography http://www.melissaenglephotography.com
