I'm excited to share images from Phil and Maris' beautiful romantic DIY wedding held on a rainy day at the end of June. First off, I would like to give a shout out to Scott of SMJ Photography for being my second shooter. He did a fabulous job with his off-camera flash skills.

The guys and gals got ready at The Brownstone Colonial Inn in Reinholds before heading over to a historic chapel called Swamp Christian Fellowship for the ceremony. Thankfully the rain slowed for a few moments after the ceremony and we were able to snap some photos outdoors. After being showered with flower petals, Phil and Maris rode off in a vintage 1956 Lincoln Continental Coupe, which was a surprise from her dad. The reception was held at The Barn at Flying Hills.  After a round of fun and emotional toasts, first dances and delicious food, guests went downstairs where they danced the night away.

I was amazing by all of the handmade DIY details that Phil and Maris put together, from the vintage bicycle to an old door that had heart-shaped favors made of bird seed hanging on it. The shades of light pink and ivory with textures of lace, vintage fabrics, pearls and roses evoked a sweet romantic theme. I hope you enjoy the photos below from their day!
